Show Us Wednesday~Week 2

If you remember, we are participating in a great linky party each week called SHOW US YOUR BUSINESS WEDNESDAYS, and after last weeks opening introduction, I have been doing more thinking about our business and what direction we want to take our business in.  Then I discovered that the topic for this weeks post at Show Your Business is to share our business goals for 2011, and how our readers can help us achieve them... (wow! almost fortuitous don't you think?)

It's kind of a "no brainer" for us.  We want our jewelry business to expand, selling more items, increasing our public persona, and making more money-right? Right!  Yet there is so much more we want to do!
Aunt Peg's Jewelry currently participates in a program called KIVA, an outstanding organization that helps organize and oversee small business loans for women & men in 3rd world countries. You can invest as little as $25.00 towards a loan, or any larger amount you feel comfortable with (plus the money is returned to you as the loan pays off, you just don't earn interest.)!  Megan and I have both been participating in the ventures for 6+ years, and we love it, and each time our money was paid back we have just re-loaned the money.  So it is natural for us to give a portion of our sales to this organization-a way for us to

  PAY IT FORWARD.  

Anyway, 1 thing we really want to do is increase Aunt Peg's  level of participation with this worthwhile cause, and that means we need to increase our business bottom line.

We also want to expand our other 2 blogs:
AUNT PEGS RECIPE BOX .BLOGSPOT.COM-where we're hoping to publish a cookbook this year.
PEGS SISTER SAL.BLOGSPOT.COM-by spending more time with creative crafting, we hope to be able to make all of our Christmas gifts for the 2011 holidays (this one may be a stretch goal).

We have a ton of other goals to accomplish, but these are the 3 big ones we really want to accomplish.
THE OBVIOUS FACTOR in getting our readers to help us reach these goals is to spread our business info around. The more our business name and blogs are recognized, the higher our sales will go.  We know that once someone buys any of our jewelry, they seem to fall in love with their piece's, and they truly love the prices, so we just want people to recommend us, try one of our jewelry piece's, or place our buttons on their blogs.
BUT WE HAVE TO SAY THAT WE LOVE ALL OF OUR READERS, ALL THE TIME, AND NO MATTER WHAT! We appreciate the time you spend just stopping by our blogs, let alone actually reading these huge posts of mine---my mouth (and typing skills) are running out of control!

Enough of this ranting and bragging and staring in the mirror stuff-lol!
